last day home

tonight is my last night in my bed because i don't think i'm going to get any sleep thursday night.
So far i'm not even nervous or excited. I just don't think that it is happening yet. I don't think it has really sunk in that i'm not going to be home, see my family, talk to my friends, and sleep in my own bed for the next five and a half months. I went shopping at the mall with Rah and Cait for the last time in five and a half months and I didn't even really think about it. I am sooooooo excited for everything that is about to happen! I can't wait to meet everyone in D.C. and I can't wait to meet my host families! I think that is about all. I really have to get in the habit of writing in this... and writing better stuff. ah well

The Basics

Hi! I think blogging this will be a lot easier than anything so i've decided to blog my trip. haha. and i will possibly vlog too. not positive. think i will. anywho

If you weren't aware i'm going to Seoul this summer and will be coming back to Pittsburgh December 16th. I'm pretty pumped!

I'm going with NSLI-Y. I got a full scholarship to study Korean in Korea. During the summer, for six weeks, I'm going to be having an intense Korean language study course. We had to take a placement test. i turned mine in blank... eek. whatever the whole reason i'm doing this is to learn korean. During that time i'll be with a host family. i have nooooo idea who they are yet but i hope to know soon :)

For the fall semester, I'll be going to Mirim Girl's High School. Two other girls with NSLI will be with me so i'm happy about that. whoop whoop! we have pretty darn cute uniforms too haha. I have a host sister who goes to the same school. her name is Im Yeree. i can't wait to meet her!
